Leadership Academy Series: Part One

Department chairs and program directors are called upon to perform several roles simultaneously: (a) Leader and manager of a department or program's day-to-day operations; (b) mentor and counselor to colleagues, students, staff members; (c) budget-manager; (d) conflict solver; and much more. In this one hour session, Dr. Michael Goldman and Dr. Gerianne Merrigan will share their experiences and stories as leaders of departments. Faculty who are thinking of becoming a chair or program director, or who are new in that role and would like support, will find this session invaluable.
