Student Health Service Haunted Open House and Health Fair

On Wednesday, October 27 from 10 am to 2 pm the Student Health Service (SHS) will host our annual Haunted Open House and Health Fair! In addition to a Halloween theme and spooky costumes and our world-famous haunted house, students will receive free health services including nutrition assessments, blood pressure screenings, and personal health advice from our doctors. Information about safer sex, reproductive health, STIs and HIV/AIDS, and counseling services will also be available. In addition, flu vaccines will be available. All members of the campus community are welcome to receive the flu vaccine in the form of either an injection or nasal mist. Flu shot injections are $20 and nasal mist flu immunizations are $25. Only persons up to age 49 with no major health problems are eligible for the nasal mist option. Please note: Flu vaccines for staff, faculty, and administrators will be available on October 27 from 10 am to 2 pm ONLY. No other dates will be available for flu vaccines.
