Film screenings: "The 50th Film Finals"

The next wave of film begins at SF State. Scores of innovative independent filmmakers and future Academy Award winners work nonstop to get their work accepted to this annual juried screening. Shorts in animation, experimental, documentary, drama and film noir genres dominate the Film Finals, with many moving on to festivals worldwide. Guest speaker: Pixar's Jonas Rivera, (B.A., '96), 2010 Academy Award nominee for Best Picture, "Up."
