Concert: "Retirement Celebration for Professor Albirda Rose"

Dance alumni return to campus to perform and celebrate the career of longtime Professor Albirda Rose, who will retire in May. Performers include Kendra Kimbrough-Barnes, Laila Jenkins-Perez, Travis Rowlands, LaTanya Tigner, Roquisha Townsend, Ase Dance Collective and University Dance Theater. Proceeds benefit SF State's Village Dancers program, which provides free dance classes to children in the Visitacion Valley and Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhoods of San Francisco.
