Program: Jenkins: Palladio-Allegretto; Haydn: Divertimento For Cello and String Orchestra In D major (arranged by Piatigorsky); and Piazzola: Las Cuatro Estaciones PorteC1as (The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires) Founded in 1991 by Eduard Schmieder, iPalpiti is a "musical peace corps," bringing unique insight to music making, creating a cultural network among 200 artists worldwide, forging lifetime friendship and promoting universal awareness and understanding. The orchestra's players, ages 19-30, are winners of international awards and represent 20 countries.
