Colloquium: Student writing and the new literacies

Andrea Lunsford (Stanford) will discuss the impact new technologies and their practices (such as Facebook, Twitter, texting, and email) are having on the way college students write. This talk will draw on the results of the longitudinal Stanford Study of Writing to argue that we are "in the midst of a literacy revolution."
