Six women and one man--all Juliet--offer fresh perspectives on Shakespeare's classic character. This new choreographic-theatre piece, devised using the highly physical movement and acting techniques for which director Mark Jackson has become renowned, explores Shakespeare's themes of love, longing, fate and personal responsibility. Jackson, an SF State alum, is among the most acclaimed and sought-after theatre artists in the Bay Area, with his work also having been performed in the U.K. and Germany.
