Community Engaged Scholarship at RTP Review: Indicators and Measures of Quality

In this interactive session, participants from across disciplines will examine real examples of community based scholarship by colleagues throughout the CSU and will discuss the quality of the scholarship and how it could be recognized in retention, tenure and promotion evaluation at San Francisco State. Rubrics of indicators and measures developed at other campuses nationally will be examined to see if they might form a basis for evaluating work done here. The goal of the session is to find common ground throughout the university for developing a standard of high quality community engaged scholarship.
