Bay Area poet-novelists Summer Brenner and Owen Hill read from their new noir novels, just published by San Francisco's PM Press. Brenner (who is published in Gallimard's prestigious serie noire) wrote I-5, A Novel of Crime, Transport, and Sex as "a curse on them that force women and girls into bondage" and focuses on human trafficking in California. Hill's protagonist in The Incredible Double has two jobs. Most of the time he's your average bisexual book scout in Berkeley. Some of the time he's...not quite a private detective. Join us!
